Making a Booking
If you would like to make an appointment please phone Samuel on 07422 374 670. A guide price will be given over the phone based on the information provided, I will try to be as accurate as possible but please remember that the final price is dependent on a number of factors including but not limited to your dog's size, coat type, coat condition, his/her temperament and ease of parking etc. A £15 deposit is required for all bookings with the balance payable at end of the appointment.
A Note on Cancellations
If for any reason you need to cancel your booking please let me know as soon as possible so I can rebook the timeslot to someone else. If 48+ hours notice is given your deposit will be refunded minus a £5 admin fee. If less than 48 hours notice is given, no refund will be issued. The same applies if you are not in at the time of your appointment.
If you need to reschedule your appointment this will be treated as a cancellation and you will need to make a new booking, the same terms found above will apply. Full Disclosure
In order to offer a safe and high quality service is it vital that the information I have is correct and accurate. This includes but is not limited to: your dog being clear of fleas, his/her coat condition, temperament, previous grooming history, breed, size, medical conditions and parking/electrical availability at your address.
I reserve the right to cancel your appointment at any time should any information provided prove inaccurate. No refund of deposits will be issued in this instance. Please note you are legally required to disclose any past or present aggressive behaviour shown by your dog. Fleas & Vaccinations
Please ensure your dog is up to date with vaccinations and flea treatments at the time of your appointment. An additional charge of £50 will be made for any dog found to have fleas, as the next appointment will need to be cancelled to allow for a thorough cleaning and disinfection of the salon.
Matt Removal
Where possible I will work through matts allowing for your desired style, however in order to minimise stress and in accordance with the Animal Welfare Act I will not to spend more than 15 minutes dematting any dog in a single session. Severe matting can be extremely unfomfotable for the dog and as such clipping the coat short is often the best option in these circumstances.
DisclaimerYour dog's safety and wellbeing is my absolute number one priority and every effort will be made to ensure this. I am first aid trained and fully insured however please be aware that working with animals and sharp tools means that unfortunately accidents (including cuts, nicks, scratches, over trimming of nails etc.) can occasionally happen. Should an incident occur no liability will be accepted. Similarly, no responsibility will be taken for any irritation, abrasion, or hair loss due to any pre-existing skin condition, or as a result of the grooming process. I will of course inform you if any problems are encountered during your dog's groom.
If you are in any way dissatisfied with your dog's groom please let me know within 24 hours and I will do my best to rectify the issue. Photos
Photos may be taken of your dog before, during and after his or her groom, if you would rather these were not used online please let me know.
